Lighthouse Point is a coastal suburb located in Broward County and is just west of Hillsboro Beach. It has a population of approximately 10,486 residents. The city is named after the nearby Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse and is known for its extensive canal system developed in the 1950s and 1960s, which has made it a popular destination for boating and fishing.
